One of the top courses in Thailand

Away from the heat and bustle of Bangkok, Chiang Rai is located in the far north west of thailand. It is known as the Golden Triangle between the beautiful mountains along Thailand’s western border and the Mekong River. A visit to SANTIBURI in Chiang Rai is a delightful experience all year round.

Chiang Rai’s first and Grandest golf course was designed by one of the world’s finest, Robert Trendt-Jones II. For a stunning experience, tee off early one winter morning. The first few holes are a dream as the light fog shrouds the course in blanket of white. As the sun burns away the fob, the rolling fairways set amidst the Chiangrai hills, prepared with bunkers, lakes and trees come into shaper definition.

Santiburi Chiang Rai Country Club features some exciting holes with undulating fairways and perfectly rolling fast greens. Four different tees offer every level of golfer a fair chance. Eleven long par 4’s makes Santiburi particularly challenging for all golfers. Most of the holes are also characterized by rolling greens guarded by countless sand and grass bunkers, trees and huge water hazards. Designed to maximize the risk and reward, there are varied options for many of longer holes including conservative approaches for the novice and challenging routes over hazards for the more experienced golfers.

The Singha Beer family own this course and  continue to invest and maintain the course to an excellent standard .Santiburi Chiang Rai course is kept in excellent condition all year round.

If you are travelling to either Chaing Mai or Chiang Rai, then taking a trip to play golf at Santiburi will time well used as this is a jewel of a course.
