Excellent Course Close to Thailands Highest Mountain

Chiangmai Inthanon Golf and Natural Resort is established on Chiangmai’s golf scene. It’s a scenic delight with panoramic vistas of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain, dominating the background. At 7,268 yards off the regular white tees, it’s a pleasant layout with a mix of par 3 lengths and styles. A few strong holes will examine your game, but there are a few more leisurely ones to enjoy as well. The course is in good condition and well worth a trip to soak up the serenity of this part of the country.

There are excellent views of Doi Inthanon, Thailand’s highest mountain and the course has wide fairways with challenging bunkers. Several creeks meander through the course and water comes into play on 12 of the 18 holes.

The course opens fairly easy with a par-5 and then 2 generous par-4’s. However, don’t let the straightforward opening holes fool you into a sense of security in making a good score for the day as holes 15 and 16 are as tough as any golf in Thailand. Fifteen is a long tough uphill par-4 which is immediately followed by the downhill par-3 sixteenth. You will love the last two holes, as they are among the most attractive holes in Chiang Mai. With 18 holes, par 72, in a total of 7272 yards, this golf course was opened in 2009 and has become an attraction ever since..
