Popular Course ideal for high handicaps

A favourite of local Japanese, Kiarti Thanee Country Club is ideal for higher handicappers and newer golfers. The location off the elevated highway makes Kiarti Thanee easily accessible for those staying in central Bangkok and/or on their way to/from the Bangkok airport.

Wide fairways, especially on the back nine, are common allowing average players to either be on or near the greens in regulation. Kiarti Thanee is a relaxing golf course in this respect, but there are also abundant water hazards and large waste bunkers to challenge more serious golfers. The course underwent an extensive course renovation program in 2004 by Japanese designer Kato Yoshikazu. This has toughened the course up, especially from the back tees.

The 18th hole, a par 5 462 yard gem, is a good finishing hole as it can be reached in 2 by more aggressive golfers. This sets up for a dramatic finishing possibilities, even if you have as much as a 2 stoke lead going into the last hole.

Two putting greens, a chipping and pitching green, plus a grass driving range make Kiarti Thanee well suited for golf practice, lessons, and instruction.
